We bridge the gap between your legal needs and top-tier talent.
Our Ethos
There’s talent, and there’s the kind of talent that defines teams.
The kind that transforms a vision into reality. The kind that raises the bar for what’s possible. The kind of work that goes beyond a task list, where every detail reflects pride.
You’ll find that talent at Teams Squared.
This is more than work—it’s making a difference. Something impactful. Something that leaves a mark.
Welcome to Teams Squared.
Our Story
Born on the sunny shores of Sri Lanka, Teams Squared started with a simple yet profound realization. We saw firsthand how our homeland—and other emerging markets across South and Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America—are brimming with talented, highly qualified lawyers who lack the opportunities they deserve. Local avenues often fall short, offering limited growth, inadequate remuneration, and little international exposure.
At the same time, as we connected with law firms and in-house legal teams in more mature markets, we noticed a contrasting struggle. Small to medium-sized firms grapple with finding the right talent within their budgets. They're caught between the high costs of training new lawyers—only to see them leave—and the uncertainty of committing to long-term contracts with candidates who may not meet their needs.
They're caught between the high costs of training new lawyers—only to see them leave—and the uncertainty of committing to long-term contracts with candidates who may not meet their needs.
This disconnect struck a chord with us. It wasn't just a disservice to the gifted lawyers in our homeland and other emerging markets; it was a missed opportunity for legal practices worldwide seeking exceptional talent.
We knew there had to be a better way. So, we embarked on a mission to bridge this global talent gap. By creating a conduit between untapped legal expertise in emerging markets and the organizations that need them, we aim to make a meaningful difference.
Our goal is twofold: to provide legal professionals from Sri Lanka and beyond with a platform to elevate their careers through international engagement and fair compensation, and to offer law firms and in-house legal teams a seamless, cost-effective way to access top-tier talent without the usual risks and overheads.
This vision is at the heart of Teams Squared. We're driven by the belief that borders shouldn't limit potential. By uniting talent and opportunity across continents, we're dedicated to fostering a global legal ecosystem where professionals and organizations thrive together.
